Packaging Design
My passion is brand building, beginning with a thoughtfully crafted logo, color palette, and typography. These elements form the foundation for packaging design, which offers an opportunity to elevate the brand experience through small details and intentional choices.
From preparing files for print to coordinating samples and production with manufacturers, I have experience creating packaging that brings a brand’s values to life through physical touch.
Milamore Candles
Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, which mends broken pottery with gold lacquer. This philosophy celebrates the act of mending, deeming an item more beautiful for having been broken and restored.
I worked on the design for both the exterior packaging of the candle, and the candle itself. The candle features two signature scents, each with their own unique kintsugi golden lines. The vessel is crafted in porcelain and is designed with the intent to be used after the candle finishes burning.
Jed’s american bistro
an emerging restaurant in Tokyo, specializing in homestyle American cuisine, and offering products such as hot sauce, maple syrup, and Arnold Palmers. I played a key role in designing the packaging for these items, ensuring that it conveyed the artisanal quality of the products while complying with food information labeling standards.
MILAMORE’S PACKAGING
At Milamore, I played a key role in refreshing the brand identity, including updating the logo, refining the typography, and redefining the color palette. Following the redesign, I led the implementation of the updated visual elements across packaging to ensure a cohesive and elevated brand presence.
LOGO DESIGN
A logo is the most essential element of branding. It tells a story in seconds and serves as a constant reminder of a brand’s image, values, and personality.
I’ve worked with a wide range of clients to create logos that align with their goals and messaging. No two logos are the same, and I collaborate closely with each client to design something timeless and meaningful.
